Monthly Journal: August 2019

The August journal spread was one of the most fun ones to do as I collected a number of useful materials from all the events I attended this month. McDonalds released the Rilakkuma Happy Meal toys which I selectively collected the one with a stamp, sticker roll, and a container. I made sure I cut out the wrappers and have them stuck on to the pages, something I've always been doing after starting this monthly journal journey. Really wanted to have the entire Mona Lisa poster in my journal but ahh, the size was off so hence it became part of the flatlay instead. Film photoblog of the art exhibition HERE.

Tiffin Event was also a great place to get all these materials because most of the of packaging used at the food stalls were really simple with just a sticker on it. Aside on devouring on all the delicious food there, I was also busy peeling stickers off every packaging.

The bonus material has got to go to the cat mosquito patch that I had on while filming at a oil palm estate (film photos HERE). Sadly, there were more flies than mosquitoes so this patch wasn't very useful but as always, I don't waste potential materials like this and stuck it in my journal. It gave my journal a good week of lemongrass fragrance, genius!

Now, I want to share about two things that I purchased this month. The first one is a sticker pack that I bought from Krby Store which is run by the young artist herself. She's still in college so she hasn't got a lot of time to put her items up for sale but I really love her style and couldn't help but to get my hands on her peach themed stickers. For international purchase, HERE, for Malaysian orders, just message her HERE.

Last but not least, I got my first ever Black Milk Project mystery box! It really does surprise you with it's contents. I love how there were so many materials for me to use and they also gave useful items such as a soap bar (love the petals on it) and a pouch that I can definitely use while travelling. There will be a new theme every two months and you've got to pre-order it on their website HERE. I'm definitely going to get the next one when the announcement is out! Now, scroll down and take a look at the details of the stamps and place your orders the next round:
