Monthly Journal: December 2018
December 31, 2018
Today is the last day of the 2018 and as much as I am excited for the new year, I'm also feeling anxious to what 2019 will bring but before that, here is a recap of the month of December. I attended a Muslim wedding ceremony for the first time in a mosque and it was really nice to have Abang accompanying me to the event. For girls who have no experience and are going to attend a ceremony held at the mosque, you've got to cover up yourself from head to toe to be allowed into the premise. All in all, it was an eye-opening cultural moment that I think everyone should experience once, especially living in Malaysia, you've got no excuse to not attend one.
For Christmas, Abang and I spontaneously decided to eat something nice (we've been eating kopitiam food since forever) at Botanica & Co. where I got him to fall in love with mulled wine. He ordered two cups of it, crazy. I also took home the super cute table sheet from the restaurant, coloured it, and cut and pasted it on my journal!
And when I thought there that was all to my December, I went up to Genting Highlands with Abang and his brothers for a one-day trip just to gamble a bit and also to dine (for the second time) at Beauty In The Pot. I looooooove Beauty In The Pot but it can be quite expensive for a 2-hour steamboat session. I also took photos of these three brothers for the day since I had a few more frames left and its been a long time since they took photos together so why not.
That's all for the month of December and tomorrow is a brand new year. How time flies as we grow older and that's pretty scary for me sometimes. Two more weeks and I will turn 26, gosh..I still feel 17 though hahahhaa! So here we go, happy new year and welcome 2019!
xx,
