Monthly Journal: May 2018
May 31, 2018
May oh May! Flew off to Bangkok at the beginning of the month and met up with my squad after a long, long time. It was relatively a quiet month with less activities as it always is after a week of vacation out of the country. Note that the Pet World wrist band took up the entire week slot (pic above) because I was lazy AND also there weren't much stickers and cut-outs too. Anyway, I really love the pants I bought at Bangkok, as seen behind my monthly journal. I'm sooo fascinated with cultural prints and I think after this I will try to get anything with cultural prints wherever I travel to.
Sawadeekaaaa! My third time to the land of smiles was a super fun one where I stuffed myself with all the delicious street food and burnt many pockets with my shopping spree at the night markets. The trip to Bangkok this time was a good balance between food, shopping, and culture and I can't wait to go back for a fourth time!!
Here are the 3 parts of my Bangkok trip:
Bangkok Part 1: Faraway Places
Bangkok Part 2: Temple Visiting
Bangkok Part 3: Fluffy, Art, & Shopping
1-5 May - Thailand

15 May - Underwater Squad
Some of the most interesting humans I've ever met were those I got to know when I was in university. We were all in the same degree, learning about language and the world while frying our brains, and doing silly things together but we all had our own roads to take after graduating means we were meeting up lesser and lesser. Here is a coverage of what went down on our short dinner outing:
19 May - Pet World Exhibition
One boring Saturday afternoon, Abang I visited the pet exhibition while at Mid Valley and due to the flash of my camera that will frighten these animals, I couldn't take much photo with the film cam but here you go with the light leaks!
There goes my month of May where Bangkok was also my first vacation out of the country this year so, what a way to kickstart the rest of 2018! The next one will be Yogyakarta in August with my college friends who I went with to Taiwan two years ago. This also means it's time to stay home more to save up for the coming trip to Jogja. As of now, goodbye May and hello June!
