Monthly Journal: September 2017
September 30, 2017
September hasn't been an eventful month which is why so many random stickers were filled up in most days. The ninth month started with me tearing a roll of film for the very first time. While on our way to the last destination in Malacca, I forgotten to press the film release button before rewinding which had me saying bye-bye to the last few frames.

The following week, Vivienne, Abang, and I went for a darkroom experience where it was very interesting to see how black and white film were processed. I managed to ruin a roll of film in the black bag while the rest that attempted this activity had great success until the end of the whole process. The worst part was not failing the whole activity but actually ruining the film that was not even mine in the first place! Most importantly, what I learnt after that was I am not developing my film the old fashioned way. Too tedious and too dangerous (can't bear to spoil my film), I rather spend the money and let Bang Bang Geng do the work!
Anyway, last minute plans and we ended up at APW Bangsar for RIUH! after Darkroom. The sausage bread and special sauce by Tony Eusoff's stall was very savoury and delicious. The Assam Laksa on the other hand was just so-so. Most importantly I got to spend time with two of my favourite people, Vivienne and Abang!
September ended with a blast at the Axiata Arena Stadium as the Malaysian dodgeball teams won the Asian Pacific Championship 2017. They will be eligible for the World Cups at New York in 2018. So much for wanting to capture the moment of glory on film but I only brought one camera along. Here are some of the shots before the Sakure point-and-shoot camera expired halfway through.
